Barre -Yasa

This unique and innovative class combines elements of ballet, pilates, and yoga, offering a challenging yet rewarding workout experience that will transform your body and mind. Unlike traditional barre classes, the Barre – Yasa Class embraces the absence of a ballet barre. This allows you to explore a new dimension of strength and balance, relying solely on your body’s ability to stabilize and engage your muscles. By removing the bar, you’ll learn how to tap into your core strength, improve your posture, and test your limits in ways you never thought possible.

Introduction to Ashtanga

This class explores the practice of Ashtanga yoga’s Primary Series. This series of asana was developed in Mysore, India nearly 75 years ago.

The Primary Series is composed of a dynamic sequence of postures, each one designed to prepare the body for the next posture. It is an energizing practice for building a healthy combination of strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility. However, the benefits of this practice reach far beyond the physical. Emphasis is placed on the 3 elements of the Tristana: coordinated breathing technique, bandhas (energy locks), and dristi (gaze point).
